Job Description

Engineer:

  • Servicing of plant and equipment to include Pasteurisers, Westfalia Separators

  • Attending plant or equipment breakdowns

  • May involve weekend call outs/out of hours (additional rate for callouts and rota)

  • Other ad-hoc duties will be explained during the job

Job Description

Laboratory Technician/Quality Auditor

  • Ensuring all samples are logged on computer system

  • Checking paperwork and details of products are correct

  • Ensuring product is tested in accordance to procedures

  • Referring to customer specifications when required

  • Liaising with customers on quality matters

  • Checking Clean in Place (CIP) chemical strengths

  • Using appropriate PPE for all sample taking and chemical testing

  • Ensuring the health and safety of colleagues and yourself

  • Assisting co-workers with tasks and duties as required

  • Using your own initiative to solve problems

  • Attending to detail and multi-tasking effectively

  • Understanding and obeying all good manufacturing practice

  • Following manual handling and health and safety procedures at all times.

  • Ensuring all hygiene tasks are carried out to schedule as required

  • Any and all quality auditing tasks

  • Hygiene audits

  • External audits

  • Building fabric audits

  • Assisting with customer audits and traceability

Job Description

Dairy Operator

The role you’ll carry out for us

 

  • Producing product to a specified standard as and when it is needed

  • Running separators and the pasteurisers to produce skimmed milk, whole milk and cream products

  • Connecting hoses to correct outlets

  • Correct labelling of the finished product packaging

  • Safely handling and moving finished product from filling to the cold store

  • Operating Clean in Place (CIP) procedures including safe use of chemicals

  • Basic maintenance of all machinery

  • Operating forklift trucks ensuring the health and safety of colleagues

  • Assisting co-workers with tasks and duties as required

  • Using your own initiative to solve problems

  • Attending to detail and multi-tasking effectively

  • Understanding and obeying all good manufacturing practice

  • Following manual handling and health and safety procedures at all times.

  • Ensuring all hygiene tasks are carried out to schedule as required
